Hollywood Handle Rigidizer
Available in standard 15mm rod alignment, this piece of kit greatly increases the rigidity of a Hollywood handle by connecting the top handle to the baseplate via 15mm rods. This additional point of connection reduces torque on the top handle and top plate by spreading the force to the baseplate.
Includes is 1.5” bolt with 3/16 hex/allen wrench.
To use the rigidizer, slide it on to the rods on the rear of the camera until the 3/8" thread is centered beneath the handle extension. Hand tighten the (2x) quick adjust screws on the top of the rigidizer to secure it to the rods. Next, insert the 3/8"-16 bolt in the bottom of the rigidizer and thread it into the handle extension until its hand tight. Use a hex to tighten another 1/2 turn. Do not over tighten.
We highly recommend using the stabilizer if you plan to rig a Hollywood handle using our FX6 Top Handle Expander.
