Quickly identify faulty BNC and power cables while on set with our Test Box. Roughly the size of a deck of cards, it fits easily into your AKS case and lets you confirm polarity and continuity without reaching for a multimeter.
The Test Box is simple to use.
For a BNC/Coaxial cable, simply plug each end of the BNC cable you want to test into the BNC ports on the ends box.
Green Light: No breaks in the cable.
No Light: Cable is likely faulty and should be set aside.
For a 2-Pin cable, plug one end of the cable into a powered D-tap or 2-pin port (14v only). Plug the other end into the 2-pin port on the side of the box.
Green Light = Arri polarity is confirmed
Red Light: Polarity reversed and cable should be set aside.
Powered by a two AAA batteries for easy replacement.
Wired for ARRI standard polarity (Pin 1 → negative).

To replace the AAA batteries, use a #1 phillips screwdriver to remove the 4x screws that secure the lid to the main body. Replace both batteries and reinstall the lid.
