Installation Guide for MDR.X Cheeseplate

MDR.X Cheeseplate
(2x) 16mm M2 screw
(2x) 20mm M2 screw
(2x) Locating screws
(1x) 1/16” Allen wrench
(2x) Double-Sided Locating Pin
Installation:
There are (2x) pairs of M2 screws. One is slightly longer than the other (20mm). The screws will only fully tighten when inserted on the correct side. Please refer to the diagram below.
Install the shorter screws on the same side using a 1.5mm hex driver. Only loosely thread.
Install the longer screws on the same side using a 1.5mm hex driver. Only loosely thread.
Tighten the screws down slowly, working in a star pattern. It should take a few passes. This maintains even pressure on the plate and avoids the screws torquing. Do not over tighten. For semi-permanent installation, apply Loctite Purple (222).
Notes:
On one end of the plate there are two small threaded holes. These are the storage holes for the (2x) locating pins that work with the 1/4-20 thru-hole.
Included are (2x) double-sided locating pins. These can be used to attach quick-releases that only have female locating holes.
